“The Lego Batman Movie” is not only one of the best Batman movies ever made, but is one of the greatest family movies of recent years. The light hearted feel of the movie is crafted perfectly for each members of the family. The movie takes itself as a fun roast to the Batman universe, with zany gags that match the playfulness only Lego can. Will Arnet voices Batman with the perfect balance of the broody Batman and still flexible to throw those Bat-jokes quicker than his Baterangs. Originally I posted this film review back in 2017. At the time me and Zach Fox saw the picture in theaters together. This film has not only held the test of time but has cemented a place in my heart. While the LEGO Movies may seem like an easy vehicle boost the sale of plastic building sets during the holiday season, I strongly believe these films have gone above and beyond to deliver meaningful storys that bring friends and family closer together.
